Randal Garrett grew up in East Texas where the outdoors was a way of life.  His father had a love for the outdoors and introduced him to it at an early age.  His father also believed in the values of conservation and that we are to be good stewards of God’s creation which he instilled in his son.  It was during these early years of camping, scouting, hunting, and fishing trips with his father that the passion and the love for the outdoors grew.

Randal attended Texas A&M University where he met and married his wife T.Kay.  She enjoyed the outdoors growing up as well, and they began shooting clays together while in school.  After graduation, they began shooting competitively and met many friends in the sport.  While spending time with these friends shooting, hunting, and fishing, they were introduced to numerous children’s charities and shooting and conservation organizations which they became involved with.  Some of the shooting and conservation organizations included: the NRA, NRA Hunters’ Leadership Forum President’s Founders Club, NRA – Hunting and Wildlife Conservation Committee, USA Shooting, Shikar Safari Club, IOSH, SCI, SCI Houston, Ducks Unlimited, HSC, and DSC.

Randal and T.Kay have two children who share their passion for shooting, the outdoors, and conservation.  The family has a passion for getting kids involved in shooting and the outdoors.  Randal & T.Kay have coached their son’s high school clay shooting team as well as a local clay shooting team of over 100 kids competing in skeet, trap, and sporting clays through SCTP, 4-H, NSSA, and NSCA.  They have introduced numerous kids to shooting, hunting, and fishing. One of the greatest joys in his life is watching his children bond with their grandparents in the field and on the water.  This is his drive for ensuring the legacy and heritage of the great outdoors is preserved for future generations.
