International Order of T. Roosevelt Adds Experienced Grassroots Organizer to Team
Kenia Link brings background from Americans for Prosperity, National Rifle Association in WI
“As we grow our movement, it is clear to us that we need all hands on deck to protect hunting and fishing rights in America,” said Luke Hilgemann, Executive Director of the International Order of T. Roosevelt. “Kenia’s background in organizing at the highest levels is especially key as we take our fight for hunters and anglers nationwide. Her dedication as an avid hunter, angler, and conservationist gives us the perfect perspective to grow our coalitions, reach new audiences, and expand our work protecting our outdoor heritage. We’re incredibly grateful to have her on the team.”
Link, from Minong, Wis. is a 2022 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received both her bachelor’s and graduate degrees in the fields of Social Work and Public Policy. She learned the importance of hunting conservation and respect for firearms at a young age. After college, Link worked as the campaign field director for the National Rifle Association focusing on Ron Johnson’s 2022 Senate race victory. She then joined Americans for Prosperity as a grassroots engagement director, where she gained experience activating supporters in northern Wisconsin. When she isn’t hunting, Link is planning for the next hunting season.
“As a life-long hunter, I’m excited to get to work defending our rights around the country,” Link said. “IOTR is the leading organization pushing back against the radical activists who want to strip away our freedoms. I look forward to joining an organization dedicated to protecting our heritage.”
