Animal Rights Extremist Groups Sue to Relist Gray Wolves
Three organizations file lawsuit to relist gray wolves in the Northern Rocky Mountains

[Scottsdale, Ariz.] – The International Order of T. Roosevelt released the following statement today from Executive Director Luke Hilgemann after the Center for Biological Diversity, Humane Society of the United States, and the Sierra Club filed a lawsuit Monday against the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in an attempt to relist gray wolves in the Northern Rocky Mountains as endangered:

“These extremist animal rights activists think that they know better than the experts and science. Wolves are apex predators that, unless responsibly managed, will continue to wreak havoc on our wildlife populations, our livestock, and our outdoor lifestyle. If this lawsuit is successful, there will be very real consequences for conservation in the Northern Rocky Mountain region – I urge the courts to throw this case out immediately.”
